>From 3-3:30 this afternoon I observed an adult Glaucous Gull in a large flock of feeding gulls .5 mile along Miller Rd which is off Norman Rd near its West end. The gulls were foraging in a waterlogged pasture on the East side of the road.

This is a striking bird: slightly larger than the Glaucous-winged Gulls in the flock; the mantle lighter than the GWGU mantle; the primary tips completely white; the eye is yellow and really stands out; the bill is long and straighter than the bills of the other large gulls in the flock; the head is almost completely white.

I hope the flock continues to use this field so that others may find this bird.
