Having spent most of my formative years in NE Ohio, everyone there knows
that if, ahem, Turkey Vultures or "Buzzards" are seen before their
"official" arrival date at the annual "Return of the Buzzard"
celebration at the Hinckley Reservation in the Cleveland Metroparks, on
March 15th, these birds are TV "impostors" known as "Creagles". What is a
"Creagle" you ask? Go here:

Therefore, today, March 10th, when I saw my FOTS "Creagle" at the Dungeness
Recreation Area in Sequim, Clallam County, I wasn't fooled! Here's a photo
I took of the buttinsky.
