This afternoon I found three SURF SCOTERS on the flooded fields at the end of Goodrich Rd, Centralia.

Ok, it's not a rare bird, but a very strange sight and I imagine it is a hard bird to get in this landlocked county.

Yesterday there were hundreds of gulls here (we had five species plus hybrids), the BLACK PHOEBE and we heard a lone EVENING GROSBEAK.
