Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday March 20. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

On March 13 a YELLOW-BILLED LOON waas off the South Jetty of Yaquina Bay.
The Newport KING EIDER, Hillsboro RUSTY BLACKBIRD, Ankeny NWR
YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER, and the Coos Bay PAINTED BUNTING were seen during
the week.

Conspicuous migrants during the week were OSPREY and SAVANNAH SPARROWS.

A SAY?S PHOEBE is now being seen at the Marine Science Center on Yaquina
Bay. A SAY?S PHOEBE was seen during the week at Powell Butte Park in
Gresham. On March 17 a BARN SWALLOW was at Ankeny NWR. A CLIFF SWALLOW was
seen March 13 in Grants Pass. A GOSHAWK was over Corvallis March 19.

On March 14 a lone SNOW GOOSE was at Hatfield Lake near Bend. Numbers are
now arriving at Malheur NWR. A migrant flock of LONG-BILLED CURLEWS was at
Riley March 17.
