We now have at least two adult male RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRDS and one female
visiting our porch nectar feeder. This afternoon, I got a photo of one
Rufous standing guard http://flic.kr/p/meBwEK . What he didn't notice while
he was scanning downhill was the other male RUHU happily sipping at the
nectar feeder on our front porch, uphill from the clueless sentry.

Two immature male ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS are also using the same feeder.

The most adrenaline-pumping moment of the day happened when two adult BALD
EAGLES flew across our front yard and up a neighboring ridge. I was too
stunned to grab the camera as they winged away.

I visited family on Oahu in February and saw some beautiful birds. Photos
