Hello Fellow Birders:

The 19th Annual Grays Harbor Shorebird and Nature Festival is just around
the corner. We hope you as local Audubon Chapter Leaders have our local
festival already penciled in for Chapter Field Trips, and/or individual
excursions to beautiful Grays Harbor.

Please visit www.shorebirdfestival.com for programs, field trips and
other activities throughout the Harbor area. Our featured keynote
speaker is one of our own, UW's Dr. John Marzluff, with his talk "Gifts of
the Crow" and a fun and tasty dessert reception prior to the talk on
Friday evening.

We have booked a number of rooms at the Best Western Lighthouse Suites
Inn of Ocean Shores, with a special Shorebird Festival rate of $113.99
plus tax.
When making your reservation mention "Shorebird Festival", for the
special rate. Visit their website http://bwlighthouse.com/ for details
on this wonderful Inn.

By the way, absolutely magnificent FREE breakfast provided each
morning of your stay.
Make sure to call them at their direct phone line (360)-289-2311 to
make your special reservation. The hotel is not too far from our
Festival Headquarters at Hoquiam High School, and the Grays Harbor
National Wildlife Refuge, which is just north of town and the High
School.

If possible, please forward this email to your Chapter Board and
general membership.
Hope to see you soon!!

Happy birding. Field trips are filling up quickly,
so get online and register soonest.

Yours in Birding,
Jim Ullrich
Exhibitor and Vendor coordinator
