I saw a lone Northern Shrike on my walk this morning. I was in a meadow-like hillside between Maple Valley and Renton off of Cedar Grove Road. This is a lifer for me, had to get the book out to make sure I knew what I was seeing. It hung around on a post and let me get a good look at it. Saw a few Ravens, also. Heard a Bald Eagle.
