I filmed this a few months ago shortly after purchasing a Canon 70D which will autofocus while shooting (most SLRs don't have that capability). This adult female Cooper's hawk captured a wood duck drake that was eating spilled grain under my bird feeder. I was able to open a window, set up my gear and shoot this from the comfort of my house.
