Birders,



Three ROSS'S GEESE were seen and photographed yesterday afternoon by Phil
Wegener from Bellingham just south of Lynden, WA. The birds were seen in
fields along Hannegan Road, just south of the Nooksack River bridge,
directly south of downtown Lynden. Many other birds were in the fields
including 3 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE, CINNAMON TEAL and other ducks. This
is apparently a first record of Ross's Geese for Whatcom County. I'm going
to look for them right now!
