Subject: [Tweeters] Woodland Bottoms - Wilson's Phalarope

Hi Tweeters,
At 2:30 this afternoon (5/10/14) there was a WILSON'S PHALAROPE along with 21 DOWITCHERS - presumably long-billed in the bad light - at the small mud flat along Kuhnis Road in the Woodland Bottoms. This has been the only spot in the Bottoms hosting shorebirds this spring and never a lot of variety at once, but repeated efforts have produced a reasonably mix for Cowlitz where shorebirds can be tough.

Russ
