Tweeters,

Last Saturday the weather was just right for observing migrating Vaux's Swifts entering their man made roost sites and large numbers were reported to Vaux's Happening throughout Oregon and Washington. But the star of the show was Monroe Wagner where the birds put on a spectacular traffic stopping display. Wagner is a Partners in Flight Important Bird Area of global significance partly because it gets lots of bird use in both north and southbound migrations. Paula Duncan came up with our 11,456 total.

The inside the chimney cam is currently not functional and may never be again.

There was also a probable Chimney Swift with the 5000 Vaux's at Eugene Agate last night.
