I heard and then saw the Yellow-breasted Chat at Magnuson Park this morning, 13 May 2014. I first heard it around 10 AM due east of the western bunker on the cross-park trail (as reported earlier by Scott Ramos. It then flew to the top of a bush due south of the bunker, where it remained singing in the open for at least the next 10 minutes. Of course, I left my camera at home. I'll console myself with the fact that the light was incredibly harsh at the time.
