Tweeters!!

Just now I happened to look out at the nest - which was lying fallow for about a month after the last fledge - an lo and behold there is a hummer sitting in the nest - at just 8pm. I am reading "Wild" and just happened to gaze out. Couldn't believe my eyes!! We've been hearing much clicking and other hummer noises - I'm sure there are other nests. So is this the 2nd, 3rd or...what brood!

Boy, just when you need a little miracle - there is is!!! Since the new growth on the pine is coming in, it's a bit harder to zero in on her, but I sure did!!

I'm going back up to watch until dark!!
