It's a calm cloudy morning here in Port Townsend and, as usual these days, the airwaves are full of Robin song. Robins near and far. Layer upon layer of Robin tunes all over. What could be more wonderful?
Robins get started pretty early these days - before 430 anyway. Oh sure, Robins are common as worms (well, not quite) but they sure sing good and are real purdy too. Thinking back to the quiet of cold winter days reminds me to enjoy Robin song now as they really belt out that tune. I'm soaking up those songs like much needed vitamins.
Port Townsend has lots of nice Douglas fir trees too - even more common than Robins. Even though common I just never seem to get bored with lookin' at a Douglas fir. I think they are a real beautiful tree. And speaking of vitamins, you can get some vitamin C by drinking some Douglas fir tea - it's pretty good, at least I think so.
Well, whatever - just feeling lucky this morning I guess!
