Hey tweets, nothing too radical at the Fill yesterday. The Blue-winged Teal and pair of Ring-necked Ducks continue on Main Pond. A Willow Flycatcher arrived at the Wedding Rock. A Western Wood-Pewee was singing in the swamp. The Red-necked Phalarope of Monday was not to be found, but left behind such a vivid memory I can't stop thinking about him. So here is a poem for you today about his visit:

Ocean dweller
master of waves
stay a moment here
on the way to your nest in the north.
Faint tang of far seas,
take me with you when you go.
