Rick and Tina Taylor (Heron Addicts) blew the competition away with both
their Big Month (211 species within WA) and Big Day (113 Species in
Snohomish Co and Camano Island). Best species were Grey Grey Owl found by
Hilkka and Claire Egvedt in Eastern WA and Red-necked Phalarope found by
Terry Nightingale, Jonathan Blubaugh and Doug Resnick (Counting Crows) on
the Leque Island ponds. Jim Beneteau (Flatbottom) won the Big Sit with 27
species at his feeders during 1 day. The photography contest was won by
Ken Longley with a photo of a Great Horned Owl in a derelict house window.
