Spent the day birding in Thurston County.

The ROCK WREN was in the same place this morning as last reported: Forest Road C4600 .7 miles in.

Also in the Capitol Forest I had a good look at a NORTHERN PYGMY-OWL. Heard several HERMIT WARBLERS. And a HOUSE WREN.

Stopped at Nisqually on the way home. Along the trail to the boardwalk were: 2 YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS (I believe adult females), 1 adult male BULLOCK'S ORIOLE and 2 BANK SWALLOWS.

For the day I observed 5 wrens in Western Washington (all in Thurston County). No Canyon Wren.
