Subject: [Tweeters] Gray Crowned Rosy Finches Whidbey Island

There have been 3-4 Gray Crowned Rosy Finches (that really calls for the ABA
code GCRF, but I won't argue about that now) at the Coupeville (formerly
Keystone) ferry terminal since yesterday. Steve Ellis was the first to
report them. They are very tame and hanging out right in front of the
picnic tables, with divers and dog walkers and all kinds of activity going
on around them. The only hard part is they are very well camouflaged.
Again, they are on the upper part of the beach by the picnic tables, not
down by the water. I saw them today (lifer!) at around 11:00 a.m. with a
few other birders.

How long would it take to get to Neah Bay from the Coupeville ferry
terminal?

Good Birding!
