Subject: [Tweeters] Whidbey Rosy Finches - lesson learned

Yesterday (11/4) afternoon about 2pm two Rosy Finches were again feeding by
the picnic tables near Keystone Ferry. A photographer with a very long
lens showed up, and after taking numerous pictures at about 5 feet from the
birds, decided to throw out birdseed for them (in order to get them
closer?). That, of course, immediately brought in the gulls and crows,
which caused the finches to fly way down the beach, not to be seen again
while we were there. I think there is some kind of lesson in that.
