The lowland invasion continues.? just had yardbird #125, in the form of a solitary Pine Grosbeak.? Heard only at first, it took a while to filter through the memory banks for a possible source of its musical call notes.? Flew southward from its hidden perch high in a madrone on the rear edge of Kubota Gardens?to a cedar across the street, then continued towards Skyway.Here's hoping the robins, waxwings and starlings leave enough madrone berries to lure in more!
