While relocating good 'ol Gair's (Gary Bletsch's) Aythyas today at Lake Erie near Anacortes, I ran into a (RED) FOX SPARROW at the boat launch. I was able to obtain several very low-quality photos. Still, though out of focus and taken in shade, you can make the bird out here:

It responded to pishing and jumped up initially, but the photos occurred moments later when the bird had dropped into cover/shade.

Although my numbers were lower, I did find two REDHEAD (drake, hen), and 18 CANVASBACK in the impressive Aythya group on the lake. At Washington Park nearby, the ANCIENT MURRELETS also showed, although similarly my count was lower than 'ol Gair's, just two, plus 5 murrelet, sp. and a larger count of MARBLED.
