Randy Hill and I watched four black scoters swim from Columbia Point on the Oregon side to the Washington side. We sighted them from McMinnamans parkinglot and drove to hopefully get photos. Much to our dismay we arrived across from Columbia Point and could not locate them. We spent a bit of time on both sides of the I-5 bridge looking with no luck. We figured they flew off either up or down stream. We did look for them on the Oregon side as well but they were not there only the Male was seen as he never followed the females.

Also seen on both sides was a single male ww scoter and several surf scoters on the Oregon side.
