I noticed that in addition to the two King Co. Acorn Woodpeckers reported
in the last two days, B.C. has had two reports in the last week (Powell
River and Victoria). It seems like there may be some movement of this
species this year. Just speculating, but perhaps it's related to that
drought in California. Keep your eyes peeled.
