I use the heated hum feeders too. This is the first season I am using
them. I am running two heated feeders and two regular feeders, to cut down
on feeder domination by Hercules, the top male.? When the temp goes down I
plug in the heated feeders and take the regular feeders indoors until
things warm up again. This system has been working quite well, so far.
