Unfortunately, I have to revise my statement, I looked an even more recent photo and found the line was still there. The owl doesn;t seem to be trubled by it, but I am not an owl and may not be as sensitive to any discomfirt it may be feeling.
I can provide my most recent picture to annyone off line if they want to review the situation further.
