Tex Peterson, Josh Adams, and I were just watching a Leach's Storm-Petrel from the Edmonds public pier. It was due west and at a distance too great for photos but well seen by scope. Its shape and flight pattern were distinctive for Puget Sound birds. Right now visibility is good and the sun is at your back so it might be relocatable. More to follow in ebird checklists. This is a code 5 Edmonds bird and usually not seen until November, in the few years it has been seen.
