About 8:00 this morning, a probable Red-naped Sapsucker was on Promontory
Point at Magnuson Park. All field marks were good, though a hybrid is still
possible: red crown through to nape and red throat, no other red visible;
white eyeline, light breast, white wing patches, white spots on outer
primaries; very dingy appearance; seen climbing tallest cottonwood on
Promontory Point, then flew downhill, out of sight.
