A trip today to Fir Island and the Samish west 90 by Kendrick Wong,
Isadora Arevelo Wong, Kate Tillotson and myself was highlighted by over
6,000 Snow Geese seen at the Hayden Preserve. Is the 12th of October
slightly early?
Other birds of note: A pair of Wood Ducks seen along the north side of
Mann Rd in Wiley Slough on Fir Island. American Kestrel along Chuckanut
Drive (hwy 11) south of Boe.
