While sitting in our home office a flicker visited our window mounted suet feeder, and hung
on for about 30 seconds, left before I could get a photo

Tail shafts (underside) were totally yellow, no visible hint of red. Could not see shafts of wing
feathers. Gray crown with red nape, brown face (note: where the black malar of a male
would be the brown was just a little darker than the rest of the face). Hasn't come back, our
resident red-shafteds are now defending the suet feeder.
