Tweeters,

I went to Howarth Park in Everett today for my lunch time birding break. I was shocked to see a Pectoral Sandpiper in the asphalt parking lot. It was high tide and raining. The parking lot is ~75 feet from the shore of the sound. I wonder if this guy thought that the parking lot looked like mud from the air?

Also saw 4 juvenile Parasitic Jaegers in formation chasing a Bonaparte's Gull. They were turning like a small flock shorebirds as the bony tried to out maneuver them.
