This week's post covers an apparent territorial dispute between two mature. male great blue herons. In all the time I have spent watching birds around Union Bay, I have never seen two heron's behaving in this way. It is surprising to me that this incident should happen while visiting family in Vancouver. I hope you enjoy the post.
