I neglected to mention that other than the species reported, I also had a rare hybrid, a
GREATER WHITE-FRONTED X SNOW GOOSE along Skagit City Rd. on Fir Island. I managed
two distinguishing photos:

I had not encountered this one before, and must admit I was tempted to say early (Blue)
Snow Goose at first.
