Subject: [Tweeters] A kestrel egg date
Date: Apr 3 12:09:15 2015
From: Bud Anderson - falconresearch at gmail.com

A friend of mine here in Skagit County has a private camera in a kestrel
box and they got their first egg yesterday, two weeks earlier than last
year.
This is just their second year there so the variation could simply be
normal behavior, as we have seen in peregrines.
As the falcons gain more experience breeding at a specific site, they tend
to lay their eggs a bit earlier each year.
