On Thursday I thought I heard a California Quail near the Kiwa Trail entrance at Ridgefield NWR. I heard the "chi-ca-go" call twice. I thought I must be hallucinating and I was really missing my California birds!? I decided not to report it because I had no idea whether or not there are quails there.??
