I was at Tulalip split in the morning - I too did
not see any Long Billed Curlews. I had one
Whimbrel for sure and possibly a second. There
were a handful of Greater Yellowlegs and a single
Lesser Yellowlegs (much smaller with thin, shorter
bill), many Black Bellied Plovers in varying
plumages and a dozen or so Dunlin. Tide was very
low and all birds were distant. There may have
been a few peeps but I was on the opposite side of
the bay so difficult to tell even in the good
light. Also present were 25+ Boanaparte's Gulls
squawking away and perhaps 15-20 Caspian Terns
being somewhat quieter. I wish access was better
(or I knew where better access is located) as the
area is very birdy.
