Hi Tweets,

I've been enjoying five species of sparrow in my yard for a while. I
normally have three: Song, Fox and House. But now I have five! In winter,
the Golden-Crowneds show up, and now I have a White-Crowned joining in.
This is the first year I've noticed a White-Crowned Sparrow, so I'm excited
to add it to my yard list. The Golden-Crowneds are more aggressive, and
like to chase the White-Crowned away from under the feeder. But they don't
seem to bother with the Juncos.

I did have a Golden-Crowned Sparrow last week that looked sickly, walking
slowly around my yard. It didn't fly away when I was outside, and seemed
more hunched over, and ate oh so slowly. But I haven't seen it since then.
