I stopped by the M Street Marsh this morning to try to locate the recently reported Semipalmated Plover.?I could not find that bird, but did see a downy young Killdeer running around in the mud, a Wilson's Snipe with an apparently injured wing, and a lone drake Redhead in with all the Green-winged Teal.? Other shorebirds present were Least and Western Sandpiper, Dunlin, and Greater Yellowlegs.
Also, over at Boeing Ponds, in the middle of the main pond, is a singing male Yellow-headed Blackbird.
