I stopped at 10:15 at the Dalco Overlook and tide was coming in with a high at 13:07. The current was flowing in and around the point and Bonaparte's were flying up current (NNE) and drifting down to the point while feeding. I estimated ~1500 and there then another 250 around the point. I only had binos so wan't successful in finding a Franklin's but there are probably some in the flock. The flock has been sporadic during the past month.
The drive out is closed until 10 am if you are taking a scope along.
Nothing but a lone immature eagle on the Tahlequah dock this morning.
