First off I had a small flock of western grebes (14) and Clark's Grebes (2) (#175) at the flushing channel at Vancouver Lake. I then found a yellow-headed blackbird at Fazio's feedlot on Lower River Rd. Could be the same one Randy Hill and I had earlier. Frenchman's Bar was next and although it was not really birdy there were a couple of FOYs. They included western tanager (#176) and dusky flycatcher (#177). Other notables Wilson's warbler (1), yellow-rumped warbler (19), varied thrush (1), white-throated sparrow (1), black-throated gray warbler (2), orange-crowned warbler (6), warbling (3) and Hutton's (1) vireos, ruby-crowned kinglet (2), common loon (1) who was calling from the river and it was awesome!, and a Bullock's oriole.
