Subject: [Tweeters] Grebe and scoters at Discovery Park, Seattle

Today, Dan Harville and I covered the Beach Route for the Discovery Park
bird census. It was pretty quiet, but we did see 2 SURF SCOTERS fly past
West Point, and 1 HORNED GREBE, still mostly in alternate plumage, in the
water off the North Beach. Both species are unusual for this time of year.
More expected were 14 RHINOCEROS AUKLETS.
