Dear Tweeters,
Kraig Kemper called me at about 0845 to say that he and Bob Kuntz were looking at a Wandering Tattler at Rosario Head, Skagit County, today, 3 August 2015. Kraig said it was on the biggish island that one sees when looking to the northwest from the statue of the Indian maiden. It's the island with the beacon on it--the one that's in Skagit, not the bigger one that is off to the southwest.
If you don't see it there, be sure to look at the rocky shoreline that curves away from the beach by the college research station--I've seen tattlers there in the past.
Funny thing, but for some reason, when I woke up this morning, ?I was thinking about Brit Lit I, and Addison and Steele's publication? The Tatler--yes, that's how they spelt it, and no, it was not in the context of birds at all! I was just thinking of cool titles.
Too bad I have to take the dogs to the groomer!
Yours truly,
Gary Bletsch
