Subject: [Tweeters] Franklin's Gull continues @ Edmonds Pier

This morning at 8:20am, I photographed, from quite a distance, a small gull in flight south of the Edmonds pier.
When I looked at my photos on my computer just now, it appears to be the same subadult FRANKLIN?S GULL I spotted there on July 29th.

When I saw it this morning, it landed on one of the metal roofs inside the Port of Edmonds, this time due east of the pier and the north jetty. Unfortunately, it didn?t perch on top, and I wasn?t able to see it again from my vantage point on the pier.

If you look for it, scan the gulls on all the roof tops in the port (a scope would be very helpful). If you see a gull that?s much smaller than the California and Glacous-winged Gulls that hang out there, then you probably are on it.
