Subject: [Tweeters] Skagit Tufted Puffin 8/4

Yesterday evening while scoping off Rosario Head at Deception Pass there
was an adult Tufted Puffin associated with a feeding flock of gulls and
alcids. Despite being within view of Smith Island where a few pairs still
breed, I'm aware of very few records from Skagit County during the past
couple decades. That being said, with more regular coverage it wouldn't
surprise me if they could be seen here with some regularity, especially in
July in August. A few awful but identifiable pictures are here:
