Subject: [Tweeters] Continuing Rock Wren family on Larch Mountain,

Tweeters,

As of 7:30 this morning, he Rock Wren family originally found by Bob Flores
(thanks Bob) continues on the large rock outcropping on Rd 1515 (see July
31 tweeters post by Bob Flores). Unlike Bob and the subsequent report from
August 2, I didn't have many migrants probably since it was crushingly
foggy. However, I heard multiple Red Crossbills, Pine Siskins, and Evening
Grosbeaks during my 90 minute visit.

If you decide to try for the wrens (code 5 in Clark County), be prepared
for about a 3/4 mile walk with elevation gain. I believe this is a
Discover Pass area.

Keep your eyes and ears skyward.

Jim
