On August 1 an adult LITTLE STINT was seen at Wickiup Reservoir. It remained

ELEGANT TERNS are now surging northward. Many were at Coos Bay by August 2;
33 were at Yaquina Bay and three were at Seaside August 3.

On August 3 a LONG-BILLED CURLEW, BAIRD?S SANDPIPER, and a SEMIPALMATED
SANDPIPER were at the mouth of Tenmile Creek in northern Coos County. On
August 4 a SNOWY EGRET was at Stables Road near Reedsport. At Boiler Bay
August 2 four ELEGANT TERNS, three COMMON TERNS, and two SABINE?S GULLS
passed northward. At Marys Peak August 5 were a PRAIRIE FALCON and an early
ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK.

On July 30 over 2000 EARED GREBES were at Gutierrez Ranch in eastern Crook
County. On July 31 a PALM WARBLER was near Klamath Marsh nor the Klamath
