This AM at Mann Lake, Nez Perce county, Idaho we had this interesting Dowitcher mixed in with a group of 23 Am Avocets and one Marbled Godwit.

It is obviously vcry brightly marked, which seems late for an adult, it seems too bright for a juvenile Long-billed but lacks the barred tertials expected of a juvenile Short-billed
Long-billed are fairly common at this location during Fall migration, Short-billed are rare but annual.
