This week?s post documents my observations while surrounded by barn swallows on Union Bay. They seem surprisingly light in color and there is a fair amount of variation from one to the next, which made me check my Sibley book a number of times, to validate their distinguishing features. Please let me know if you see any other types of swallows hiding in my photos.
