Hello Tweets,

Sorry for the late report but I just got back from a backpacking trip along
the Olympic Park Coastal strip.

I observed a partially faded breeding plumaged Red-necked Stint in a flock
of Semipalmated Plovers on Friday, August 7 near Sand Point, Olympic
National Park. In the four days we were out there, we saw an almost
continual southward push of small flocks of small shorebirds, mostly Western
Sandpipers and Semipalmated Plovers.

I got binocular views within 10ft of this bird and my son may have a
terrible photo or two on his camera.

Please contact me if any of you would like more information.
