Just had a business trip of three days' duration, but on August 11 early, then late afternoon, I was able to visit a few sites north and south of Reykjavik, Iceland. I found 44 bird species that included a few rarities, which I posted to EBird. But I'll remember best large counts of handful of species. Here are a couple of them:

Also, back home this morning at Tiny's Land in n. Lake Stevens, an very early returning imm. GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW (FOS) and a (FOS) downslope VARIED THRUSH were of note, also posted to EBird.
