Dear Tweeters,
Today, 13 August 2015, while driving downriver, I noticed a Great Egret just east of Sedro-Woolley, Skagit County. This was at about 1450.?
There is a bit of standing water near Hansen Creek, on the creek's east bank, just a stone's throw north of SR 20, between the creek and Helmick Road. This is just a hundred meters or so west of where I saw one on 9 May 2014.?
Bob Kuntz and Kraig Kemper ran right out to look for it, but had no luck. They did, however, see an Eastern Kingbird there.
I would put the sighting on eBird, but since the site is experiencing a maintenance slowdown at the moment, that will have to wait.
